What Does Your Website Say About You?
Any first impression can make a big difference in a relationship, whether business or personal. As in a handshake or a friendly voice on the phone or eye contact can immediately reflect something positive or negative, so can your website. Do you want to be accessible or hard to get ahold of? Your website can scream Don't Call Me, simply by being hard for a potential lead to find exactly what they're looking for quickly.
I have wanted to ditch my old, outdated website for YEARS. I was afraid of where to go, what questions to ask and so I remained frozen, paying too much monthly for an obsolete website that hasn’t been doing my business justice.
So, I called my branding friends, Ron and Alexandra Seigel who created an amazing single website for my lakefront luxury home listing.
They gave me a killer deal and have been great friends offering terrific advice after querying me, asking all the right questions. I currently have a wonderful WordPress site that I did all by myself (because years ago in Realtor magazine it was mentioned that you could have a WordPress blog site for free. FREE? I’m on it)! After some discussion with Ron and Alexandra and the history I’ve established with that platform, I’m comfortable keeping it and incorporating my website into it. They felt that AgentImage would best suit my needs. I got off the phone with them and immediately googled it and filled out the information to be contacted.
I received a call from Josh with AgentImage in less than an hour. He is a senior web marketing strategist. (I love that title!) We hit it off immediately. He didn’t try to “sell” me. We just had a conversation…for over an hour! I learned about him, his family and we went through my website and blogsite as well as checking out the website for my own home’s listing that Ron and Alexandra created for me. (It seems that I own Josh’s dream home and he was REALLY impressed with the site).
Josh took GREAT care of me. He listened to my needs, didn’t push and told me to call him ANYTIME on his cell (including 12 days from now when his first child, Flynn is to be born). And you know what? He meant it! I am SO EXCITED to go forward and meet with my design team! This is going to be a reflection of me and my style and the wonderful community that I proudly represent, Fishhawk Lake.
My only regret? Not doing this years ago. But, everything is as it’s supposed to be. If it had been years ago, I wouldn’t have met the Seigels and have them as mentors and I would not have connected (and I mean that in a very human and grateful way) with Josh and AgentImage.
