Just a quick thought here, but thought I'd share.
I was inspecting a Townhouse in Lancaster, CA the other day and had the Broker make a comment to me about something I hadn't thought of before.
He said, "Wow Tim, you did a great job here. I know this probably isn't like the home you just came from."
I always appreciate kind words, of course. What was being talked about was that I had just come from a Million and a Half dollar listing in Los Angeles and I suppose some comparison was made that it might make a difference where (geographically) you are inspecting and how much a home costs.
Obviously, It doesn't!!!
In reality, and in my opinion every home is valued in large by the locality and demographics... or the dirt below it! Or quite simply, a house is a house!
Funny enough, I've been told the same on both ends of the "Stick" now... the Agents in Beverly Hills have told me that they appreciate a structure being judged by what's relevant, not where it is.
Until next time!!
