Do you love winter, snow and wintry weather? If so, do not miss the Mount Pleasant Community Snow Day on Saturday, January 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lookout Pavilion, Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. This exciting community day will feature 25 tons of snow, three play areas, a rail jam and a jump castle.
Children 12 and under are invited to dress up like a favorite player, mascot or cheerleader and compete in a sport-themed costume contest. The Mount Pleasant Fire Department’s trucks and smoke house will be on display. A silent auction will be held. The 501st Legion – Carolina Garrison will host a “Shoot the Trooper” Nerf game for an additional fee. Participants will have an opportunity to have their photo taken with Star Wars characters.
Entertainment will include live music by Victoria’s Station, Headrush, Edisto Lane and Groove Train and comedy by Kari Hanson. In addition, the 2nd Annual CCC Corn Hole Tournament will be held. Registration forms are available at www.carolinachildren.org.
