Hi Al,

Well that's one way to earn some extra income for the beach as it is the slow season there.

The attendant looks like he could use a walk on the beach and loose some weight too. He looks huge.

Have a great day in Ormond by the Sea my friend.

Best, Clint McKie

Al, I have never driven on the beach in Daytona; stopped to gas up on my way back from FR Mid-Winter meetings this past Sunday, though, and loved hearing the Rolex 24 engines while I gassed up!

AL driving on Daytona Beach was one of my favorite things.  $5 is a bargain. Here at Hampton Beach Nh it is a minimum of $10 to park and that could be a block a way. Come July up to 20 and if a holiday look out for 30 or even 40 when the temps hit 90. I loved sitting on Daytona Beach watching the cars go by, however there was a few crazies who caused some close calls, my favorite was a jacked up truck who swerved into the water to make a splash and the engine died. The driver was soon cuffed and stuffed.

Good morning Al. I always thought that this ability to drive or park on the beach was odd, but then I parked by my spot and enjoyed that.

Al, I've always found it odd that people drive on the beach where others lay sunbathing.

Al,

The annual pass fees for resident and non-redisent are really not that expensive. Our tolls here everyday are proabbly $6 per day at least if you take the tollroad. I think dricing on the beach would be fun and kind of an adventure when you have never done something like that. thanks for the blog.
