While in our meeting last week, we discussed many ideas for 2013 and what we would like to accomplish as a team. Of course, one of our goals is to remain your local Real Estate experts. Another goal we discussed was to give back locally by hosting our monthly meetings at a local restaurant, and then writing a brief blog on the place.
Our first adventure landed us at Gerhard's German Restaurant, located at 222 W Hickory St in Denton, TX. We have attached a photo map where Gerhard's is in reference to a few different neighborhoods
in Denton.
Gerhard's features German staples such as: Brat & Sausage specialties, Spaetzle (kind of like gnocchi pasta dishes), Schnitzel (breaded cutlets), Rouladen (thinly sliced meat wrapped and stuffed with bacon and onions), and of course, an extensive beer menu to please
They have tons of German beer, and a very wide variety ON TAP, at that. You can even buy a stein that will be kept at the restaurant and hung on the wall with a plaque that bears your name. Each time you come in, they pull down your stein and give you a discount on your draft of choice.

Gerhard's definitely has the German pub ambiance with attentive beer wenches, barrels and an abundance of glass mugs in the middle of the restaurant. We went there for lunch, and everything was wonderful. If you love German food, potatoes, and beer - this is the place for you.
