Depending on your circumstances, the Buyer may enjoy a savings through increased monthly take home pay or as a year-end tax refund. First Time Home Buyer Tax Credits (MCC) in Broward County may help Buyers qualify for larger homes or assist them in qualifying for mortgage loans when you otherwise would not.

General requirements for First Time Home Buyer Tax Credits (MCC) in Broward County :

1. The program has income limits (currently $85,920 1-2 family members, $100,240 3+ family members)

2. Cannot have owned a home for last 3 years (Veterans are exempt from this rule)

3. You will need to participate in an approved homebuyer education course (Can do this free of charge)

4. You need to work with an MCC approved Lender
