Special and Unique Holidays: March 2013

I consider myself to be a creative person so I will be happy to celebrate National Craft Month in March. I am currently working on a "holiday" scrapbook. It will include anything Christmas...parties, visiting Santa, spending time with family, putting up the tree...and New Year's...sipping sparkling cider (don't really care for champagne) and hanging out with friends. I've got a few other projects going one, but I won't bore you with my list. :-)

March is one of my favorite months. Could be because of my birthday on the 12th?! Here are some other cool dates to add to your calendar:

March 1 ~ Peanut Butter Lovers' Day

March 8 ~ Be Nasty Day

**March 12 ~ My Birthday**

March 14 ~ National Potato Chip Day

March 20 ~ Extraterrestrial Abductions Day

March 25 ~ Waffle Day

Not sure which day I'm more excited to celebrate...my birthday...National Potato Chip Day (Ruffles, please)...or Waffle Day! Hmmm...I really like waffles! Which day are you excited to celebrate?

Awesome, Donna! Your birthday is a national holiday. :) Funny that there is a Be Nasty Day. Do a lot of people know about this? Because I'd hate to be "celebrating" it with folks who don't... haha!!

Hi, Donna...I'm so glad we've connected on ActiveRain! I love scrapbooking, too. It's hard to find the time to do, but much more likely to get done if I set a date with a friends to work on a project. I may need to plan a trip to Colorado! :) My son has turned us on to eating waffles with peanut butter spread on them, topped with a drizzle of honey (his choice) or maple syrup (my preference)! So, I can celebrate both foods twice! I think I may need to stay off the road on March 8th...nasty is often expressed on the road these days! I want to avoid that! Hope March 12th is the best day of the month!

Nina~ I've got an extra bedroom! I know what you mean about setting a date with friends to work on scrapbooking. That's the best way to make it happen. I'll be 49 this year. Next year I'm attempting to plan a bit of a family reunion. Wish me luck.
