Old Ladies Rock. 
As you can see from the early pictures I had a big old board up beside my house to keep my little dogs from being able to get to the front of my house. The reason I had to do this was because my little dogs are barkers and they are a special breed called Chinese Crested, one of them is hairless and the other is a powder puff.
So, not only do I want my dogs irritating all of the people who go by but they are at risk of theft, too. This barrier I had is exterior plywood which was once used for a hurricane protection for the windows.
I couldn't stand it anymore and decided that even though I am OLD, 64, I could do it myself. My son said he would help me but knowing that he is soooooooooooooo busy with his work and family it was just worth a try.
As you can see it was built from scratch, holes, Quickcrete, etc was all little ole me. I am so proud of my gate that I may burst. Hope you like it, too.
