Was My Loan Sold to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac?

If you are looking to take advantage of the HARP 2.0 (Home Affordable Refinance Program), then you will need to know if Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac bought your loan prior to June 1, 2009.

The first thing you should do is call the lender who is servicing your loan. Ask them if Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac purchased the loan prior to June 1, 2009.

If the customer service rep doesn't tell you or says they don't have access to that information, you should contact Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac directly.

Just click the links below or call the toll free numbers:

This information will help you determine if you are eligible to take advantage of HARP 2.0. There are some additional requirements. Just click on the link provided for more information.

I personally took advantage of this program to refinance my home. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me at (615) 495-0752.
