Carol, sounds like the City of Jacksonville is finally listening!   With outdoor activities all year long - biking/walking is important and seeing less accidents would be a positive sign.

Wow.  885 square miles.  That is a huge area.  Good luck with the road improvement program.

This is something to pay attention to. Thanks for spreading the word. It impacts residents, business people, travelers and especially new drivers and seniors.

The State of TX started this project a few years ago and although improvements were needed, it created diversions, planning for alternate routes and lots of patience. The year the SuperBowl was in Dallas the roads were a mess. As a resident I found it to be very difficult and construction is still ongoing. Being in traffic with people talking on their cell phones is a big problem here in TX.

The more people that know about what's going on in your area, the better.

This is great information to know and you're doing an excellent job spreading the word.

Many older and larger cities could use some updating Carol, only the cost keeps it from happening.
