Can you feel it? It’s the time of year when a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love, and Cupid’s arrows seek out another innocent victim. Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and what better way to spend an afternoon than listening to six wonderful singers perform the works of Puccini, Verdi, Mozart, Donizetti and others.
On February 9th at 2:00PM, Nelson Hall at Elim Park in Cheshire will be the venue for this fantastic performance of arias and ensembles from classic operas in a Valentine’s Day tribute, “Love in the Afternoon”, presented in conjunction with the Opera Theater of Connecticut.
