“The will to win is not nearly as important as the will to prepare.” - Juma Ikangaa
I think this quote is true whether you are trying to win a race, a listing or in life in general.
Runners need to run regularly to build up miles. The more you run the easier it gets. If a runner is serious about winning, that person will also work on sprints and work on hills. A runner prepares for the race.
For a real estate agent, preparation is important also. How well does the real estate agent understand the real estate business? Does the agent know his/her market? How well is the agent able to communicate? This list could go on and on. The better prepared an agent, the more successful the agent is going to be.
That said, you can’t sit around all day planning and preparing. You have to actually get out there. As Nike says, “Just Do It.”
If you don't seize the moment, the day will be gone before you realize it.
