Android Phone App that photographs Thief
Ever had your android phone stolen or heard of somebody who has? I just discovered that there is an application for androids that will potentially take a picture of your telephone’s thief. You will need to have a front-facing camera and once you install this application your phone will automatically take a picture of the person viewing the screen after 3 unsuccessful “unlock” attempts. The software then send you an email along with a photograph of the would-be thief. You then get the opportunity to log into your account from a different computer and see the location of the phone as well as where that phone has been.
This product was recently reviewed in PC World and made “Today’s Top 9”. I’ve included a link to that article so you can get the full scoop. Just so you know, I have no dog in this race, I get no referral fee etc., but I thought it looked quite interesting and wanted to pass it on to others.

This together telephone app was brought to my attention through a real estate mastermind group of which I’m a member. It is called the CyberStars and there are about 200 of us in North America and we try to stay very much out in front on technology as a relates to real estate. I just spent 3 days in San Diego at our annual CyberStar conference and my head is still something from all the things that I learned. The key now is to implement a number of the ideas and processes that were shared at this conference. The group is a by-invitation-only membership and I have been privileged to be in the group for 10 years. This group, along with the Howard Brinton Star Power Systems, are the 2 best real estate education organizations that I have been involved with.
