SO... I went to the South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach this past Thursday. It is held annually in January since the weather here in Palm Beach County is pretty mild this time of year. My friends and I had a great time. It wasn't too busy as there was school the next day and it was mostly adults in attendance and the temperature was cool and in the 60's.
The requisite exhibitions were present too. There were chicken and rabbit displays, Lots of livestock like goats and cows. Even pregnant cows that were giving birth right there. It was very cool And a great way to introduce birth to youngsters.
We all ate a lot of really bad but delicious fair food. I am talking turkey legs, cheese steaks, kabobs, smoked sausage, and blooming onions. Then later some funnel cake and fried Oreo's....YUM! We didn't end up getting my fried Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich tho.....
This particular night was a Bikers Night. There must have been 100 or more folks on motorcycles. I truly cool sight to behold. They even had them all do a ride through the fairgrounds. Pretty loud but really cool. It is amazing how much can be custoimized on a motorcycle. 
The South Florida fair is running thru this weekend. If you are in the area, go! It is an inexpensive night and there are plenty of sights and sounds for all to enjoy.
