Our first motorhome was an old Southwind that two truck drivers had owned. It was dated but it was in great shape. We weren't sure if we would like the "on the road" lifestyle so we started out with a minimal hit to our pocketbook. We traveled to the Keys and then a long trip to Sturgis to the motorcycle rally. By that time, we were totally sold. We slept in our own bed, visited family & friends on the way then walked out the door at night to sleep in our own bed, visited sites and had fun then slept in our own bed...get the picture. Our dogs traveled with us and slept in their own beds. While we were in Denver, we attended a motorhome convention and fell in love with this unit. Times have changed. We bought some cabins in the mountains and we may regret it but we have decided to sell the motorhome. We have a house in the mountains and property at the beach and one at the lake so we have the best of all world.
Our motorhome has less than 23,000 miles and it has been stored in its own custom, climatize garage...never left in the weather except for trips. It is 38 ft. with a bedroom slide and a living room/dining room super slide. I have many pictures so I would be happy to email more. Motorhome is stored in Calabash, NC halfway between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington, NC.
