Engaged in Social Media Doesn't Mean We Have to Get Married!
In case you do not know me yet, I'm a Realtor® in Sharon MA. I'm not just any real estate agent. I'm a Realtor® who cares passionately about doing a great job for my clients. I'm also a businesswoman who works full-time. I don't see any conflict there. I'm guessing most of my readers work, too, and understand that.
I'm always learning, reading and making sure I know what's happening in the Sharon MA real estate market and the broader economy. Part of my job is to guide and advise my clients so they have the best information and can make the best decisions. To do that, it's not enough to gather "time on the job". I have to stay current and informed myself. I read news online and in the paper. I follow information from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and RE/MAX. I take webinars and courses to always be learning more.
According to the National Association of Realtors, more than 90% of buyers start their search for a home on the internet. When they find a home that interests them, they find an agent and make arrangements to see it.
Sellers search the internet, too. They're looking for information about sale prices, local real estate agents, what's happening in their local market and more.
Why do I mention the internet searches of buyers and sellers? Well, if you're a homeowner looking to sell your home, or a buyer who wants to buy one we're going to meet each other on the internet. I want potential buyers to see my clients' properties that are for sale so I make sure they can be found in a search for "homes for sale in Sharon MA".
I want to answer your questions about the local market, or what the town is like, so I blog. I want you to know that I will provide you with a market analysis so you'll better understand the value of your home in today's market.
But please, don't think that because I want to engage in social media that we have to get married! What I mean is that if you comment on one of my blog posts or my facebook page, or reply to a tweet you're not going to be trapped! How would I do that anyway? If you get to know me from my posts and want to know more about how I can help you with your real estate goals, contact me and we can meet. If you feel comfortable and like the idea of working with me, great! If not, we'll both move on. If you'd like a market analysis and would like to know how I would price and market your home for sale, I'll be happy to meet with you. There's no trick and no trap.
As I mentioned in a previous post I Don't Bite. But, I would like engage with you. I'd love to know how I can help, what you think of the town you're in (or hoping to be in), events and places that you recommend nearby, questions you'd like clarified about real estate, etc. We can be engaged in social media but it doesn't mean we have to get married!
