Buying or Selling a Home Quiz Me

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executive Realty, Al and Cal Realty Group S-96414

Buying or Selling a Home QUIZ Me

If you are looking to buy or sell a home, you want the best agent you can find.     I have been selling real estate locally for the past 25 years and along with my partner Al Mussi, we have helped hundreds of families to make their move.    We pride ourselves on being on top of market conditions, staying abreast of real estate trends and are committed to continually learning our trade.     We have aligned ourselves with what we think is the best name in the business, Remax.

But you don't want to take my word on that, so  QUIZ ME!  looking for a realtor quiz me

Me, or anyone else you are thinking of hiring!   There are a number of things you can ask an agent.    Google it.   You will find all kinds of sites with many different questions.   That's okay.   Some seem ridiculous so temper them to suit your needs.

A good, confident and experienced agent will welcome your questions and will be happy to share their experience and knowledge with you.

So what might your quiz look like?    I don't know.   What's important to you?    Is it a full time agent?  Is it one with years of experience?   Is it the one that is most busy in your market place?   Or, is it the agent who's personality is most like yours?    Is a Mom and Pop firm something that you prefer or do you find value in the big name?   What you don't want is that agent that will do whatever it takes to get your business even if it means misleading you.

I don't want to give you the 10 most important questions.   No one but you really knows what's important for you.

Besides, giving you the questions would be sort of like an open book test written by me, and what would be the use in that?    I have to question the "experts" that give you the questions to ask other real estate professionals because I know those questions will be slanted and biased, written to put themselves ahead of another for one reason or the next.

If you are not sure what to ask, it doesn't hurt to Google "questions to ask a Realtor".    Get those sample questions and the ones that you will naturally have on your own.

Figure out what it is that is important to you and QUIZ ME!         I look forward to your call!

What a great idea!  Give the buyers & sellers a little confidence in themselves and they'll have more confidence & respect for you!

Carol Ann, buyers and sellers need to know what is important to them when hiring an agent. I think most don't really know. Good advice!

The nice thing about being in Del Norte County CA is that I handle a wide range of real estate. Some agents are great at one kind, but as we all know, no two transactions are alike. So, yes, experience counts but not necessarily years and years because the market changes constantly, at least in the past five years.

Questions asked goes both ways don't forget. I like it when buyers ask questions & want to meet me. I remember one buyer asking all the good questions but left off one very important one - only work with one agent at a time.

It's amazing that many buyers and sellers go with the first agent they talk to and don't interview several agents, let alone the one they pick. We always invite clients to ask us any questions they want before signing on the dotted line, we're confident we can handle whatever they throw at us!

I have a friend in another state who needs a realtor.  She already knew 2 so I helped her come up with a list of questions to ask each of them to help devide who would do a better job helping her sell her home.  She felt awkward asking hr "friends" these questions. I believe that when ou are doing business, it does not atter if they are friends- you are entitled to ask the questions that will let you know you picked the best person to help you sell your home- not just the nicest.

Hi Michael.  You might be right.   Thanks!

Hi Chuck.   I am ready!  Bring those questions on!!!

Hi Christiansen Team.   I have a feeling most in the "rain" are up for it!

Hi Hella.   Yes, yes, yes!   I used to hate those contests that gave kudos for the monetary volume sold and not the number of transactions.     Some agents I met could beat my very many with one high priced sale.    Experience is no way the same!!

Hi Lyn.   Ahh.   Very good point and it will be remembered!

Just as important is the qualification process for a Realtor to determine if his new prospect is client eligible, don't you agree?

Dear Carol-Ann,

My line to clients is always: "the only dumb question is the one not asked." If I know, I will share and if not, I will find out. The cool thing about this business is that once in a while someone comes up with something that requires research and teaches me something new.
