Downtown Condo Market is back on track

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Fort Worth Texas Real Estate

Back in 2006 construction of condos in downtown Fort Worth and the 7th Street area was at a fever pitch. Tons of beautiful new urban residences flooded the market and consumer interest was high. As the national real estate market declined from it's peak in 2006 the inventory began to accumulate, and then following the market crash of 2008 we entered a period of depressed prices and buyer reluctance to commit to the urban lifestyle in Fort Worth Texas.

Most of the smart real estate minds around here have said that Fort Worth would lead the country out of the real estate doldrums and that is exactly what has happened. Today we have a Seller's market in Fort Worth and one of the few segments of our local market with available inventory is the downtown urban market. So now, in addition to seeing a general recovery in the condo market we are seeing increased interest by consumers due to the lack of other available housing in the area. Condo sales have increased dramatically in the past few months.

If you are searching for a home in Fort Worth and haven't been able to find one that suits you I would love to help you explore the "Urban" option. This lifestyle is new to our local residents but folks from other areas of the country have been quick to grab up our available condos which compare very favorably to other condo markets in terms of price and local amenities (Fort Worth's incredible Sundance Square & 7th Street Corrider).

Take a look at our current inventory of DOWNTOWN CONDOS

If you see anything you like, let me open a few doors for you. As a downtown resident myself (Texas & Pacific Lofts), I can show you all of the exciting aspects of "Fort Worth Urban Living"
