Prescott, AZ - Kingswood Estates is a premier subdivision located in Prescott, AZ. Kingswood is located 5 miles, put Iron Springs Road, Northwest of Prescott’s historic Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row. It is adjacent to the Prescott National Forest. Much of Kingswood is landscaped by native vegetation consisting primarily of Ponderosa Pine, Scrub Oak, White Oak and Mountain Mahogany. It is not uncommon to see mule deer, javelina or other wildlife. The forest setting and active lifestyle is what attracts many people to this area.
Speaking of active lifestyle, Kingswood is also home to the Prescott Racquet Club the areas only independent tennis and fitness club. The PRC offers workout facilities and classes as well as a pool and spa. Membership is optional and is not included in the Kingswood home owner’s association fees.
There is an HOA in Kingswood. The mission statement of the Kingswood Estates Owners Association (KEOA) is to "Protect Kingswood Estates property values with a minimum amount of encroachment on, or interference with, individual members' rights, and promote harmonious community relations in Kingswood Estates."
The community provides excellent access to the Prescott National Forest. Trail 317 is a trail that connects to the neighborhood and is popular among mountain biking and hiking enthusiasts. The community also sits just down the road from Granite Basin Lake and 9,762 acre Granite Mountain Wilderness an excellent area to explore, fish, bird watch, take the dog for a walk, camp, hike and rock climb.
Homes in Kingswood range in size with some being over 5,500 sq'. There are 165 executive homes in the community. The Kingswood neighborhood has paved streets and city utilities including; natural gas, city water and city sewer.
