"A Celebration of Life!"

  Westminster, CO -  This last Saturday, Feb 2nd, we conducted a "Celebration of Life and a Silent Auction", dedicated to one of our fellow colleagues, MARK CAMERON MUNRO!   Mark had unexpectedly passed away, on December 7, 2012.  I want to take some time to talk about Mark's career as a highly regarded real estate professional!

We were able to generate over $10,000 from the Silent Auction for Mark's Family!!

"Mark's career directions was influenced early by his father, an independent architect.  Mark worked as a Journeyman Carpenter while putting himself throught college - further advancing this direction!!  He gained exposure to the complete archetictural and design experience through the construction cycle working for a few of the big name builders, such as Pulte and Richmond.  He ventured into the NEW home sales and received numerous awards, Regional salesman and several monthly salesman awards."

He received his real estate license in 1985, and decided to hang his license with Remax Horizons in Broomfield, CO, (1987-2004).  While there he became the Past President of the North Metro Denver Realtor® Association during 2000-2001.  Mark, had attained many of the real estate designations, with the distinction of a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame!

 Mark was widely known and respected by his friends, business associates and clients.  He truly believed that a man's actions spoke for his credibility!!  He is survived by his wife Cindy, who he had just married in a little over 2 yrs ago, in Oct. 2010,  his step children Christopher Schuster and Aimee Charlton, siblings Robert Munro, Theresa Erickson, Christa Munro, and Kaylyn Munro, and nieces Shannon Lawrence, Kelly DeMarco, Lily Boyce, and grand-nephew Zach DeMarco and grand-niece Paige DeMarco.

Mark, will surely be missed, and his constant believe of "Attitude is Everything", will be carried through-out the halls of the Remax Alliance!!
