Tips for Selling Your Home

Want to sell your home?  For many people, it’s probably one of the most stressful things they will ever do.  Many of us get attached to our homes, and often think that the place we’ve lived in for so many years is worth a lot more than it is.

Many realtors, unfortunately, play into those emotions, and let homeowners think their homes are worth more than what they reallyare just to get their listings.  This is unfortunate, because in  many of these these cases, homes sit on the market much longer than they should.

Realtor, Bill Gassett, has a great article where he shares his experience with homeowners interested in listing their properties.  In the article, Gassett advises homeowners specifically on what to look for when choosing a realtor.  Not all realtors, according to Gassett, use the same approach to marketing, and one of the biggest mistakes that sellers can make, is choosing the wrong person to list their homes.
