How did Thurston County home prices fare in 2012?
You can see clearly from this chart that the majority of the months, 2012 prices lagged behind prices in the same month one year prior. This chart also nicely shows the annual price surges in June and July when there are more buyers competing for properties.
Looking at the trend over the past number of years, it appears as if the decline in home sale prices is starting to level out.
January statistics set up 2013 on a positive note with a 2.3% increase over the previous year.
This Realtor has strong expectations for the market to stabilize in 2013, which would be welcome news for Thurston County home sellers.
