Orlando Chili Cookoff
Calling all Chili lovers! If you're in the Orlando area on February 9th, 2013 - this is one event you won't want to miss! "The City Beautiful" will be hosting the 4th annual Orlando Chili Cookoff to find out who is cooking up the best Chili in Orlando!
The Orlando Chili Cook Off, which began as a small gathering of friends and chili-lovers, has now become a regional event attracting cooks and attendees throughout Central Florida and even some of the southeastern states. Teams can win trophies and prizes for the best chili or the best open chili categories. Also, a best-in-showmanship award will be presented for the most entertaining chili team.
The Orlando Chili Cookoff is going to be a good time for a great cause with all proceeds benefiting the Special Olympics Florida. Everyone from foodies and beer connoisseurs to music fans and families enjoy this spectacular event centered around tasty chili, great music, and good times! To date this event has raised almost $100,000 for local charities.
The Orlando Chili Cookoff is going to host Orlando's FIRST and ONLY World Eating Chili Eating Challenge! Some of the fiercest eaters in the world, including the renowned eater, Joey Chestnut will be among the 15 competitors who will chow for charity in six minutes of chili eating glory!

When: Saturday - February 9th, 2010 - Starting at 12pm (rain or shine)
Where: Festival Park - 2911 East Robinson St. Orlando, FL 32803 (west of Orlando executive airport)
No pets or coolers - Children 5 and under are free
