While Lake Havasu's Winterfest 2013 may be getting all the attention right now, there's even more going on in our fair city in the upcoming week. You don't have to look any further than the lake itself. That's where you'll find the 6th Annual Havasu Pocket Cruisers Convention taking place.
Beginning this Saturday, February 9th and continuing through Monday, February 18th, Lake Havasu City will be deluged with with anywhere from 150-200 sailboats. Crews from throughout the United States, Canada, the UK and the Netherlands will descend upon our town. Over the coming week, boat enthusiasts will see sailboat races, listen to seminars, participate in fun social events and just sail the hours away. This is perfect timing, by the way, since temperatures are expected to start heading up into the low 70s by the end of next week. You can't live in Lake Havasu City and not be a fan of the water. There's a reason thousands of people come to Lake Havasu every year. If you love to sail, you'll be in plenty of good company. Set sail on the lake February 9-18 as part of the Havasu Pocket Cruisers Convention.
