The Big Deal - Sailing magazines

I love to sail. A few months ago, I went to the Newport International Boat Show. If you didn’t go this year, it was a great show. I toured several boats that I’d love to sail, including a Nautor Swan 54 that lacked for nothing, and a Maine-made Morris 60 with lots of gleaming teak around the cockpit.

I noticed that the publisher of Cruising World was giving away subscriptions to its magazines, and I asked whether they would do the same for my customers. They thought that was a great idea, and they set up this special web page where you can subscribe.

Cruising World coverThe giveaway at the boat show was part of their sponsorship package, so this offer isn’t free, but it’s close! Here’s the deal. Order a one-year subscription to Cruising World, Sailing World or Yachting magazine from this webpage and put it on your coffee table for $9.97. (Their regular rate is $28 a year.)

That’s all there is to it! I thought this would be a fun way to put a warm spark in the cold weather. I hope you enjoy the magazine!

Brad, thanks for sharing your love of sailing and the boat show you attended sounds like the one with teak was fancy? probably cost a fortune. Good to know clients or other blogger can get a sailing magazine for our coffee tables. Have a great evening.

Hey Bob,

Yes, they are quite expensive, both in purchase price and upkeep.  But they are glorious and heart-poundingly beautiful to look at and sail.  Here are some specs and pictures.  The boat on the link page, and the picture below, is quite like the one at the boat show.  I don't think you'll find any of these on Lady Bird Lake!  (Maybe out at Travis??)
