Sunset

My husband surprised me with a last minute decision to go out to eat and we were treated to a fantastic sunset.  Ended up at a restaurant on the water with a small beach.  The fallen tree framed the sunset perfectly.

Such a beautiful night, I wanted to share.  So glad I always keep my camera in the car!!

What a beautiful setting - it is especially appealing since it is 25 degrees with freezing rain here in NY - enjoy it!

Very pretty setting.  What is the restaurant, Trish - I get into the JAX area from time to time.

Welcome to Active Rain, by the way.

Thanks!  The restaurant is Caps - actually Caps on the Water and it is located in St Augustine.   Great food in addition to great sunsets.  Long outdoor deck.  If you get  chance to go and you like calamari, their Calamari Vilano is FABULOUS!!

Very pretty.  Good thing you had your camera with you.  So many times I miss good shots because the camera is sitting at home.

Trish...I'm subscribing to your posts as I'm another sunset lover.  We get the benefit of some beautiful sunsets over the lake and I find myself heading out often to take a shot.   I was out there this evening.  There's something especially beautiful about the sun setting over the water.

Be sure to share more photos with us.

Thank you,

Kathleen

Nice job.  I like the way you framed the picture with the branches of the tree and captured the colors of the sunset.  Very nice picture!
