So a friend sends me a note that they are digging out of a 8 inch snow fall...to which I reply - "we call that a dusting in New Hampshire". When we get eight inches that fills in the pot holes, and requires a long sleeve shirt.

Yup - that is a 6'6" standard door opening...and I got out to work to sign a contract. But it looks like I have some shoveling to do when I get home... forget American Express - if you own a shovel don't leave home without it. Everyone be safe out there...drive fast and take chances that is the White Mountain way!!

Steve, You do WIN! Don't think that I would want that amount of snow piling up by our doors. Have had some deep snows here in good ole MI, but don't recall too many 6' or higher drifts or actual snows. You do live in the area of "White Mountains, NH" so this is appropriate right?? Hope that your trip out today was successful and 'uneventful' Keep safe.

Lyn...I remember when I was a kid - we used to make forts in the Snow banks out by the street...and you had to make sure you got out when the plow came or you would get buried.
