Well that old song goes something like this.
But my reason isn't because of a hole in my roof. It is because when the rain hits the frozen ground and everything else, it becomes ICE!
I take 3 feet of snow over 1/4 inch of ice any day.
So I am glad the rain didn't last long and we are getting nothing but snow now.

I agree with you...I'll take any amount of snow over the smallest amount of ice. Good luck through the storm.
Ice can be trecherous, I agree with you William, give me snow, but you can keep the ice. My driveway (gravel) is all ice right now.

Ice is very dangerous ... both on the roads and on your house and power lines. It can get really heavy.
Bill, Cute photo. I am a bird lover. I wonder at times where they sleep when all the leaves are gone from trees and how they don't blow away in storms. Pretty amazing creatures.
Ice! It is treacherous. I was in an ice storm in Dallas, TX many years ago. It crippled the area. I never saw so many vehicles that had slidden off the road. Yes, snow is better than ice
Bill, Glad the snow has brought the temps down again in your area. Ice is something I like in a drink, not for everyday driving or dealing with while walking. Nice photo of the birds!
We got almost all snow. At least the bit of rain came after some snow was on the ground.
