Zak Deossie was drafted in the 4th round of the 2007 draft by the New York Giants. He is a linebacker that is suited for the strong side and has played special teams this year. He has been a great special teams player for the Giants and ranks up there with David Tyree and Chase Blackburn as the Giants top special teams players. He has filled the role the Giants put out for him and has done a great job. His job may get overlooked because special teams often does, but it is one of the most unsung positions on the field. Just ask teams that have to prepare for Devin Hester and they will agree one hundred percent.
