Bank Statements, does your bank give you one of these?

Not sure why the banks do it….Yet – since we know they do, we can at least explain why we in turn need to ask for these which is because of the page number. You may see that it is blank or just has an advertisement and accordingly, you may throw it away. The problem is that if the other pages are marked 5 of 8, 6 of 8, etc., and we don’t have a page 8 of 8 – there’s no way for the underwriter to be sure that there’s no important information on it.

So to be sure there’s no delay in processing your loan application – please be sure to save and provide us with all numbered pages of your bank and other asset statements – even if they’re blank. Thanks for the cooperation. J

Sean, great advice... Most people these day's have paperless statements which one can access and print all material as needed. If one is still receiving the old fashioned mail statements then this information is a must to follow when applying for a loan etc. Thanks Sean.

Thanks Dave, Bob and Tom. I appreciate the feedback. And if the are online statement, please make sure your name, the bank name, part of your account number and the balance are listed. I can't tell you how often I get online statements without the bank or clients name.
