Pretty quiet here? Not!

I was browsing through the blogs and found one from Christy that said that things had been pretty quiet until a lady responded to one of her blogs. What amazed me was not that someone responded to her blog, but that she had said, "It's been pretty quiet here," or something to that effect. Quiet? What does that feel / sound like? Here in Central Florida, particularly at Bourdeau Financial, the phones have been ringing off the hook. It's not unusual for my boss to have two phone calls going at once and answering her cell phone at the same time. And that, my friends is why she hired me as an assistant. Yes, things here are busting wide open. The market is a bit soft yet, but people are buying and selling and refinancing and whatever else. We've been so busy that "quiet" is the furthest thing from our minds. This morning, the phone has yet to ring, but once it starts, welcome to the world of mortgages in Central Florida. It's been an awesome learning experience for me. I'm excited! Excitement is contageous, so I hope by sharing my excitement that YOU can feel it . . . and begin to experience some of it right where you are. I read a book once called, START WHERE YOU ARE. If the phone isn't ringing, then beat feet and make it ring. Good luck to you all in the New Year. If you're a renter, happy shopping for that home of your dreams. If you're a realtor, give your best and the rest all just comes with the package. If you're a broker, then break the mold and think outside the box. This is a year of NEW BEGINNINGS for me. I hope it is for all of you, too.  Days come and go. Don't let this one get away from you without making a difference in YOUR life and the life of someone else. Janet
