RAINY DAYS AND MONDAYS......

Rain

The rain is pouring down today here in our next of the woods!  We need the rain so it is welcomed.  I remember the Karen Carpenter song "Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down".

No getting me down here and I am not just referring to the physical rain drops falling outside.  The Active Rain is something that I always look forward to on a Monday.  A new start to a busy week, checking in with blogger friends and learning something new on the blog roll for sure!

Monday is the day I like to leave sort of open in order to gather my thoughts, set my schedule, tie up any loose ends, paperwork, etc.  I enjoy having Monday as a day to get really focused.  And one of those regularly scheduled Monday morning tasks is to pull up Active Rain and see what is going on.  This is my version of reading the newspaper!

So if you are one of those who dreads Mondays, why not carve that day out as your day to reconnect to your business without the panic mode of most people.  Mondays need not be a dreaded day!  Today I am thankful that is is Monday and that it is raining!

Happy Monday to my Active Rain friends!

Hi, Paula,

If I took the effort to post a picture of what I see outside my window you would see a bright blue, cloudless sky and sunshine everywhere. Really beautiful but, of course, we need the rain that winter is supposed to bring us.

The rain is dampering Mardi Gras here in Lake Charles, I am not much for going to the parades in inclimate weather!  However I did get out and show homes this weekend and today in the downpour!!!

Sundays are my day to get geared up for the week and I'm finally getting focused for 2013 and catching up LOL

If you could package some of that rain and send it up here in the form of snow it would be much appreciated, we could use it up here as well.

It was raining here in Virginia Beach this morning, too! We don't need the rain as much as Texas does, but it's good for the water table nonetheless. These windy, rainy, gray sky days definitely remind me to count my new blessing of working from home! I'm seeing silver linings right along with ya. :)

Nice attitude to have, Paula!  We have the gray sky, but no rain which is atypical for the Pacific NW.  I wish it would rain, and make use of the gray!  ;-)

My 6 year old dislikes any day that he needs to go to school. He actually sings the Boomtown Rats song "I don't like Mondays"

Thanks AR Friends!  I am glad to say that yes it has been a productive rainy day here!  I am actually finding the rain to be a bit relaxing.  Just glad I am not showing homes in it today.  :)

Yesterday was dark and dreary here, too, as the storm wrapped up.  all the bright new snow and sun and blue skies make it really beautiful out today.  Have a great week, Paula!
