Do not buy a condo at the Uffens Marketplace Condos in Salt Lake City until you have read this. This might change your mind. Or it might just make you want one even more. I’m going to share the good and the bad. Sometimes hearing the bad just makes you want something more, though. Like when I watched “Supersize Me” - I have never craved McDonald’s so bad in my life!
Overview:
Uffens Marketplace Condos are located at 336 W Broadway (300 S) in Salt Lake City. This is directly across the street from Pioneer Park and right next door to the Broadway Park Lofts. The lofts take up the second through the fourth floors. On the ground level you some retail shops, including Bingham Cyclery and Tony Caputos. I don’t know who Uffen is, but I picture him having rosy cheeks, a big belly, and a tall white hat. I imagine that he bakes a lot, especially muffins. If I were to live in the community, I would call myself the Uffen Man.

Let’s take a look at the good and the bad for the Uffens Marketplace Condos in Salt Lake City.
The Good:
The Uffens Marketplace Condos are some of the less expensive lofts in the downtown area. They also have a more industrial/warehouse feel to them with concrete floors, exposed vents, and high ceilings. The location is convenient to Trax, the Front Runner, the Gateway Mall, and the rest of downtown.
The Bad:
My only real gripe about the Uffens Marketplace Condos is the park across the street. Normally, being across from a park is looked at as a good thing, unless that park is Pioneer Park. The upside to living by Pioneer Park, though, is the Farmer’s Market. Wow, just realized how many times I used the word “park” in that paragraph.
