Back to Nature Plymouth Michigan Ice Show

Home Stager with Stage-Show-Sell

Plymouth Michigan held it's annual ice show this past weekend.

On Monday, my husband and I, thought we would walk around a little bit and enjoy the the 40 degree heat wave.

It's amazing how fast these carvings will melt in our balmy winter days when the sun is shining.

The next day the temp were higher and we had thunder storms.  I imagine that the carvings are gone now.

BTW, we are back to sever winter with about 6 inches of snow.

It was a challenge getting these few photos.  The sun wasn't right and they were melting.  The tails had broken off the dragons becasue of one day of 40 degrees and a little sun.

Next year I'll try to go the day of the show.

The Better it Looks the Better it Sells

You're scaring me. I'm leaving Seattle for Michigan on Tuesday to see my mom who lives in Grayling. I don't even have a really heavy winter coat.

I almost never wear a Winter Coat.  Dress in layers.

Grayling probably has snow up to their waist by now.

By Tuesday we could be having another 'heat wave'

I love Seattle and the surrounding areas and will be working on my husband to visit this fall.

My sister owns a hotel in Packwood   it's called Hotel Packwood and her family is in the area.

A few friends retired out to Squim.

What amazing sculptures!  Too bad they are so fleeting.

We didn't know about the ice show and had gone up to Ikea to do some shopping.  When we stopped at the Outback for dinner the waitress asked if we had come from the ice show.  I know I looked at her like she had two heads.  LOL  I wish I had known it was going on, I would have made sure to get over there!

What wonderful fun.  I am from Wisconsin, live in California and forget about the charming and fun part of living in frigid weather.  Thanks for sharing.
