Some People Stop and Smell The Roses...I Stop and Take the Picture. I had an early morning meeting in the next small mountain town over from Cedaredge, CO. I took the back roads to Hotchkiss for the meeting. You never know what you are going to see on the back roads. A few months ago, I had a mountain lion run across the road in front of me. That was really something to see.
The weather was unsettled this morning. It made for some great photo opportunities. The scenes always seem to look better with the naked eye, but you get the idea. It looked like heaven was opening up and greeting the mountains and everyone lucky enough to see this point in time.
It turned out to be a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine, but the morning was just as beautiful in it's own way.
Make some time to take the back roads and make some time to stop and smell the roses, or take pictures...or both. Life it too short.
