FAIRFIELD GLADE REAL ESTATE - FAIRFIELD GLADE FORECLOSURE HOMES

For most of last year when it seemed we had more foreclosure homes in Fairfield Glade and Crossville, we put a sign out in the front window of our Fairfield Glade office in the Village Green Mall. The sign simply said...." Stop in for a FREE LIST OF FORECLOSURE HOMES." Almost on a daily basis we had someone visiting the area come in for the list of foreclosure homes in Fairfield Glade and Crossville. Then it seem to have stopped. No one was coming in to ask for the list. Why? Did the serious buyers already find the homes they were looking for? Did we run out of foreclosure homes in the area?

I will tell you that for most of last year we averaged between 40 and 60 foreclosure homes in Fairfield Glade and Crossville each week we printed our list. Well, you're probably thinking, "that's nothing compared to the rest of the nation." Well, you're right. That is a low amount of foreclosure homes for such a big county, actually the largest county in the State of Tennessee - Cumberland County.

Well, this afternoon I am at the computer working in our RE/MAX office in Fairfield Glade, and a lady comes in and asks me if there is a way to get a list of foreclosure homes in Fairfield Glade and Crossville because she has family coming soon to move here and they will be looking for a foreclosure home. She said she also had thought about buying a few herself because there were some good buys on the market over the past year.

I gladly helped her and printed her out a list of foreclosure homes in Fairfield Glade, there were only four homes on the list. I also printed out the list of foreclosure homes for Crossville and we had a total of 24 and seven of them had contracts pending on them.

I believe the market is re-bounding quickly here as our inventory of Fairfield Glade homes for sale and foreclosure homes is down compared to this time last year.
