There is going to be a great event on Thursday, February 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Michael City Hall.
That is when the St. Michael-Albertville Rotary is hosting their Annual Art Auction, and this year, for the first time the event will be organized by the by St. Michael-Albertville High School art teachers. There will be a preview from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at City Hall. Right now, all student work is currently displayed in the main office at St. Michael-Albertville High School. There are over 60 pieces of art from students of all ages from elementary through high school being donated. Some area artists have also donated pieces.
There is something for every taste with paintings, watercolors, ceramics, prints, photography and sculpture plus MORE.
Proceeds from the auction will be donated to art scholarships by the St. Michael Albertville Rotary Club. And, I think that is a great cause.
So, get over to the St. Michael Albertville High School and check out all the work to see what you want!
