A true FSBO service is one that has a no commission policy or mission. Most fsbo services out there are flat fee MLS and in that scenario the seller typically pays a buyer's agent. A buyer agent commission can be 3% or even higher plus the flat fee paid to the Flat Fee Fsbo company. We all know 3% of sales price can be a large amount of money for many homeowners.
There is no reason Raleigh Fsbo programs do not offer a true FSBO solution. There is many FSBO companies that have tremendous success in marketing Fsbo homes. I will admit that they are not easy to find but would you not agree if one was available locally it would be of interest to home owners. I will mention that if one was to look at the industry with a non bias opinion the actual facts would suprise most. I have study the for sale by owner concept for many years and we often here numbers provided by membership organizations that have a strong bias. The fact is I know for certain that actual FSBO numbers are skewed because not all the facts are reported for reasons that are very obvious.
