Editor's note: Update 8:15am - I just heard from the family of this young man, he is still missing. Please do anything you can to get the word out quickly! I will update with any news I receive today. Lauri Heraty I usually don't do this, but at this point I really could use the help. My Fiance´, has a son that is missing. We have information that he was at the Giant early Thursday at 3:35am. The last ping on his phone was from the Cell Tower at Stevens Lake Road at 3:53am (The old Humane Society). Editor: This is all more than 26 hours ago. |
Jon, I am so sorry to hear about this painful situation. I'm sure it is making you crazy. Have you asked your friends who have facebook accounts to post this story for you? I hope he comes home safe and soon.
Hey Jon, I agree with Mona, have your friends post this on facebook, it is one of the fastest ways to get the word out. Good Luck.
Prayers for comfort during this scary time. And for Dillon to return home quickly, safely and realize that home is where he belongs.
Hello again Jon. I had missed this and found it after your follow up. You are in my prayers and thinking about you with hope.
Mona, Will, John, Sheila and Erica: Thanks. Information has been spread throughout the nation via online methods. Facebook included. That was all done the first day. The sad thing is that the authorities in charge, told us it would take a week or more to get a transcript of the texts that Dillon was sending and receiving up to his disappearance. A WEEK??? That is nuts! It's been 48 hours now and God only knows where Dillon is. Does anybody realize how far one can drive with an abducted child in 24 hours????
I'll keep you posted as we hear anything new. Thanks again.
Dillon has been found! He was found about 270 miles from here in Englewood, CO. He is being interviewed and should be released after that. His Mom and I came across information last night that lead us to believe that he was in that approximate area. Apparently, whoever he was with had been monitoring our movements and decided we were getting too close and dropped him off at a store nearby. The best news is that he's alive and he's now safe.
