Jeff I have missed this every year, thank you for bringing this to my attention, I will do my utmost to get to see it this year!!!
I remember visiting the Flower Fields a while back Jeff, it sure was a sight to see in person.
The photos are amazing and exciting. They remind me of the images of the tulip fields in Holland.
Jeff, the Carlsbad Flower Fields are an amazing sight. I had the same thought as Lenn (#6). Reminded me of the tulip fields in Holland.
Looks good. I've never heard of this place until now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
I have driven by there many times when taking Palomar Airport Road over to the outlet mall. The flowers really are amazing and a great example of what makes Carlsbad such a nice place to live.

Hello Jeff: This is a great local attraction worth peoples attention. This reminds me of the Texas wild flowers we see all over the state.

Thanks for the reminder! We recently moved from MA to CA (Carmel Mountain Ranch) and I had this "vision of spring" on my short list of area attractions.

It has been years since I have been in the vicinity of the Carlsbad flower fields. I enjoy the colored stripes the fields provide.
I would like to take the tractor ride.
We have the largest public tulip gardens in North America...Sherwood Gardens. I will have to take some photos again when they are in bloom.

A beautiful carpet installed by Mother Nature. Gorgeous. This post reminds me that we have a similiar event with Tulips. Maybe I'll follow your lead ;-)

Tom - indeed. I love the view from up on the hill the best where you can also see the ocean
Lenn - agreed. Never saw the tulip fields when we were there but have seen some incredible photos. The colors are much the same.
