When the Federal Reserve announced its second rate cut in recent weeks, many are wondering if this is the right time to buy their first home or to purchase a larger home. But does a rate cut mean your interest rates on a new loan will decrease? Unfortunately, it's not that clean cut. Often interest rates rise, so one cannot bank on lower interest rates. It very difficult to predict what will happen following each rate change.
What is more clear in New Jersey is that home prices are lower than they have been in years. What a great time to take advantage of some of the lowest interest rates in recent years and purchase 'more home' than you would have been able to in previous years.
What are your thoughts?
