In New York City Mayor Bloomberg unveiled the winner of a city owned micro unit apartment complex where each unit will be between 250 to 370 square feet. These will be affordable housing apartments restricted to tenants earning no more than $77,190 a year. To help in the cost of construction the 10 story tower will be modular construction with prefabricated units stacked on top of one another.
