Have we lost the art?  Have we decided that we'd rather dismiss the client completely, make the sale and move on?  As a pure sales person and if we had 70 employees to be responsible for each and every aspect of a sale, then yes this may work.  Those days are gone ladies and gentleman.  We must be stewards of many hats and we have to do them well.  Operations needs to do selections, sales has to worry about each dime, ALL of us are in the marketing and sales category.  In our little niche of the market, our clients are just happy to have a garage and a basement, they are not financing experts, oh that's right, salespeople better get more in tune with this aspect, and fast.  Lets not forget the customer is looking for direction, a comfort level that only starts with the first person they meet, for us it's either a sales assistant or the actual sales person.  At Synergy we actually sit in our own homes, not the realtor, they just think jabbing a sign in a yard is marketing and then want 6%!  What?  Can we take the customer and create a fun and worth while experience...sure hope so, we will continue to strive to do it better.

I think Customer Service is what it's all about.  Without them and the TLC they deserve, non of us could ever hope to be successful.
