University of Wisconsin Job Fair and UWSP Society of American Foresters Banquet.
We had a very successful day at the Career Fair yesterday and rounded out the day with a very nice banquet hosted by the student SAF chapter.
Nick and I spent the day yesterday at the Career fair where we made some great contacts with students and other professionals. We collected twenty very good resumes along with another 30 people signing up for our job posting mailing list.
Next we get to enjoy a few weeks of office and field interviews to decide which ones will be the best fit amongst these fine candidates.
The evening yesterday was rounded off with a fine banquet hosted by the Student SAF chapter, a group that Nick was the president of just a year ago. It was a great opportunity to meet a few of the student leaders in the profession and touch base with some of my colleagues.
I think that a great time was had by all!
