Foreclosure Rates at an all time LOW since 2008!

Do you need anymore proof that we have hit bottom and are climbing well past the housing slump?  Well, this just in... Foreclosure rates are at an all time LOW since 2008!  At the end of last quarter, only 3.74% of mortgage loans were in the foreclosure process.  That's the lowest since 2008 and down from 4.34% a year ago.  While some loans tend to have higher foreclosure rates than others, all loan types saw a decrease from 3rd to 4th quarter in 2012.

With this news continuing to improve the market, we are still left with extremely low inventory in Atlanta, GA.  This makes it a perfect time to sell!  With extremely low interest rates and low inventory, this gives sellers the edge they need to sell quickly than in a market with higher inventory.  If you are interested in possibly selling your home or know someone, feel free to call or fill out this form to receive a free market evaluation on your home.  Just put in the comments that you were referred by Jamie Walzer.

If you are an Atlanta Home buyer in this market, there is no better time to buy.  I can say that honestly now with no sales gimicky tone in my voice!  Interest rates are low and housing prices have stablilized, so it's time to get out of your high rental rate and into a home with a comfortable mortgage.  If you are a first time homebuyer and need some guidance, just email me to receive a great first time home buyer guide.

What a great way to start the weekend!

We are having similar results on the West Coast. Definitely moving in the right direction!

Great news guys! Yes, the national report is great.  Especially for non-judicial states, such as Georgia.  Happy to see things improving coast to coast.  Have a great weekend!

This is all true, however, I am still wondering what is happening to all those "alleged" foreclosures the banks were "supposedly" hanging on to?
