Visit to the Fabulous Fox Theater in St Louis - Feb 21, 2013

We braved the slippery streets to see "The Book of Mormon" at the Fabulous Fox Theater last night.  The tickets were a Valentines Day Gift - what a wonderful gift that was!  With the snow and sleet all afternoon, I was worried the roads would be too treacherous, but with the 4-wheel drive, they weren't too bad.  We were told they have never cancelled a show due to weather, so we were going one way or the other, even if we had to walk there...

The show was really great - not quite what I expected.  I was kind of surprised by some of the language used (some might not appreciate it), but the show was really funny.  The singing and dancing numbers were terrific.  It is definitely worth seeing, if you get the chance.

The theater just blows me away!  It reminds me of some Emperor's Palace in years gone by.  I'm in awe every time I visit.

Designed by Architect, C. Howard Crane, the Fox Theater was a former movie palace.  It opened on January 31, 1929.
