Daylight Savings - Spring Forward

By
Services for Real Estate Pros

The dark days are almost over.  I always tend to remember the first person who reminds me to set the clocks forward or back so be that person!

This year, Daylight Savings is Sunday, March 10th.  At 2:00 local time, turn your clocks an hour forward.  Most may be snoozing around this time so setting them the night before or morning of is just as acceptable.

You may want to include this tidbit in your newsletter or on your Facebook business page.  It's just another way to open communication and be that trusted source in your neighborhood.

An hour lost but later and brighter nights soon await!

Just a Reminder - Hawaii does not participate in the time change, so if your are "springing" forward, please remember:

California will be 3 hours ahead

Arizona will be 3 hours ahead

Colorado will be ??? (help me here)

Missouri will be 5 hours ahead

New York will be 6 hours ahead

Believe me - its just as hard for me to remember also

Thanks for the "heads-up".  Sometimes we get too busy and tend to let things slip by.  Have a great day.

It's another sign that Spring is right around the corner. Of course, today, we are having a major snow storm. I hope it's winter saying goodbye

Ugh!  How did people ever live by the rise and fall of the sun before DST?  Answer = Just fine!

Sorry I have a completely different opinion on agents spending their time reminding everyone to change their clocks. Ask me about the ins and outs of a 30 page legal contract to buy and sell a house and likely you'll have more respect for me as a professional than me reminding you to change your clock.

I have been assailed by on-line reminders that I have to set my clock ahead before I go to bed Saturday night. Good thing I am getting so many reminders.

Well, it's a good reminder - though we will be losing an hour of sleep, the brighter (and longer) days are ahead and I can still show the home till late while the sun is still shining....

It's been nice seeing more sunlight each morning.  Right around the end of December I'm tired of it being so dark.  More sun please!

What?  You haven't noticed the ninety or so posts that are up here already?  And you know what, we really do need to be reminded early and often.
