There are many points of interest in Amarillo, TX, but too many to list here. However, I have several that are top points of interest that are great for the whole family. Points of Interest in Amarillo, TX:

Bar Z Winery – Featuring wine, tours and a great party location.

Location: 19290 FM 1541, Amarillo TX

Cadillac Ranch – The world famous nose down, buried Cadillac’s in a wide open field.

Location: Arnot Road on the south side of 1-40, Amarillo TX

Carl Farley’s Boys Ranch – This ranch was founded by Cal Farley, a world-champion athlete, in 1939. The boys ranch began with only nine boys but has grown to almost 5,000 boys and girls who have found their home on 11,000 acres. The Julian Bivins Museum is open every day from 8am to 5pm, excluding holiday’s.

Location: US Hwy 385

Hoof Prints of the American Quarter Horse – This is a city-wide public art display that features over 75 fiberglass replicas of the American Quarter Horse. Each horse is created by a local Amarillo artist. The American Quarter Horse Heritage Center and Museum is located along Interstate 40 in Amarillo. It is a world-class museum that is open year round with almost 20,000 square feet of displays about the American Quarter Horse history.

Location: Along Interstate 40, Amarillo TX

Route 66 Trolley Express – Ride along on the Route 66 Trolley Express for a mile of Route 66 shops, restaurants and clubs. The trolley operates each Saturday from 12pm to 5pm for a $2 fee. This will give you the unlimited on and off pass for the day.

Texas Panhandle War Memorial – In 2003 this memorial was dedicated to the greater Texas Panhandle area in honor of all veterans from the Texas Panhandle area.

Location: 4111 S Georgia, Amarillo TX

Vintage Autohaus & Imports – If you are a car enthusiast this club is for you. Enjoy classic, vintage, muscle and European cars each Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm

Location: 8201 Amarillo Blvd. W, Amarillo TX
