Well if you have been to the Palm Springs area you know there is not a shortage of restaurants! I went to a new restaurant this weekend on El Paseo in Palm Desert, CA. and it was fabulous!
The restaurant is called Mitch's and they specialize in Beef and Seafood with a Hawaiian flare! The atmosphere is really pretty and you can dine inside or out. They have a big open grass area in the back of the restaurant that is private and they had a nice guitarist that was playing and set the mood just right!
We had a wonderful Scallop appetizer and warm sourdough bread so hard to resist when it smells that good! They have some of the best Martini's I have ever had they were just right! For dinner we had a 18 ounce rib eye that melted in our mouth with Seaweed salad one of my favorites and a cold Salmon dish that was out of this world!
We did skip on desert and it was hard because they were so tempting some of the deserts were chocolate lava cake, bread pudding, tempura banana split, etc. you get the point. Next time we will save room for one of those lovely items.
So next time you are in the area or if it is your first time please visit Mitch's you will love it!
