The stress of moving has not happened in a couple years for me since I separated from serving my country in the military, yet I can relate to the disruption in my life with just a little move from one office to another in the same building. Having to go through all the junk that I have stored up over time, can be very tedious and boring. It’s always a great way to get a fresh start and a new chapter of your next journey. Plus, as my husband likes to say I’m a “packrat”, he could be right. It’s always great to have a PCS moving checklist to help make the stress of moving to Fayetteville a little bit easier for you and your family.
It’s a great time to donate items that have not been used or sitting in boxes for a long time, maybe some since your last move. When you get to the Fayetteville, NC area there are many places to donate items for families in need. It’s also a great time to hold a garage sale and a nice way to get rid of items and make a little extra cash and whatever does not sell, call and have someone come pick it up.

Good job! Its amazing how quickly we can gather junk that we don't really need! Love the checklist!
Thanks for the great feedback, there are so many places that need items for families in need.
Thanks Wayne! That time is so stressful for people and a little guidance is always great to try and keep the chaos down.
Wonderful blog Katrina, you are right, moving is stressful not matter what form. I get stressed thinking about moving my furniture from one side of the living room to the other...lol...you offered some great tips here and I think people will really appreciate them...!
Thanks Carol, I appreciate you feedback. I am typically a procrastinator and thought this was helpful.
Katrina, that is a valuable checklist. I saved it for myself and to forward to others.
